Every day, I think about how I can ‘save’ our childrens’ memories, how can I best capture their childhood to share with them in the future. I do not scrapbook. I do intend to do photo books but i must admit I have gotten far behind (I will catch up I promise!). I do keep handwritten journals for our children but because the entries become so long, and take quite a bit of time to write, I end up doing it only a handful of times a year for each of them. Not to mention my journals do not contain pictures.
I am giving this blog-thing a whirl because it will allow me to quickly capture a moment in time… Perhaps with a picture, but not always. Maybe it will be funny, but maybe not. It may even be sad, but probably not so much. Some days I may just need to reach out to… a page.
This blog is intended to capture small moments in a day, in a week or even a month…of our childrens’ lives, our family’s life.
At some point in the future, we intend to print this blog into a book and give to our children…so they have a family memory book to cherish throughout their lives.
